I will quite happily devour potatoes in any form – be it fried, diced crispy potatoes, in their jackets or mashed. But perhaps after french fries, I’d have to say roast potatoes are my particular favourite. Perhaps the perfect side dish. And, while making the perfect roast potatoes is relatively simple – parboiling evenly sliced peeled potatoes until they’re fork tender, before tossing the potatoes in the colander and then adding classic salt, and then roasting them with lashings of olive oil until you get fluffy roast potatoes, there is a quicker and healthier alternative.

  • Seasoning if needed salt, pepper, garlic powder are some suggestions

  • Pre heat your air fryer for five minutes at around 200°c (400F).

  • Add your choses frozen roast potatoes to the air fryer basket in a single layer. There's no need to spray oil on them.

  • Make sure to shake the air fryer basket half way through cooking time or turn the potatoes over to ensure even cooking. It's at this point you can add any seasoning.
