Preheat the oven to 160°c (320°F) and grease and line a loaf tin with baking paper.
In a large bowl, mash the bananas with either a fork or potato masher.
Add the eggs, sugar and oil. Combine well using a balloon whisk
Then add the flour and baking powder and continue whisking together until thoroughly mixed.
Pour the chocolate chips into the cake batter and stir well.
Pour the banana bread batter into the tin.
Bake for 50 minutes, or until the cake has well risen and a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Cool in the tin for 10-15 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve.
